Wisa Greid of Ekiki Me fame bounced back to the music stage on Saturday, 30th January 2016 after going behind the scenes due to his indecent act whilst performing at a show last year.Accompanied by his management team, the young artiste thrilled fans at the recently held “Rush! In a Can Mash Up” event organized by the nation’s No.1 radio station in youth programming, events and innovation; YFM, at the Junction Mall car park. The event also saw the launch of “Rush in a Can”, a new packaging for Rush Energy Drink.
Despite the uproar that hit this artiste for his previous actions, the fans cheered and chanted his hit song “Ekiki Me”. Surprised at the turn out and love from the fans coupled with this performance being his first after the unfortunate incident, the up-and coming artiste had this to say “I feel so great and motivated to do more and I thank God for the support from the fans.” Most people ruled me out and tipped an end of my career but I feel great after this performance and love from the fans. It’s an indicator that people still love me and I shouldn’t let anything bring me down” The elated Wisa added.
He appreciated YFM for giving him a chance and added that he wouldn’t have had “this good feeling” and motivation do more if not for the opportunity granted by the station. “
