‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ was the biggest winner at the Critics’ Choice Awards winning nine out the 13 gongs it was nominated for.
The movie – starring Charlize Theron, Tom Hardy and Nicholas Hoult – was nominated for 13 awards and took home an impressive nine at the ceremony at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica California on Sunday.
George Miller was awarded Best Director, Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron picked up Best Actor and Actress in an Action Movie respectively, the film was named Best Action Movie, and also won awards for editing, production design, costume design, hair and makeup and visual effects.
